Darko Markovic DarMar
Darko Markovic (DarMar) is an award-winning futurist and concept designer specializing in advanced vehicles, products, robotics, weapons, and hard-surface design for entertainment and real-world industries.
His approach combines futuristic vision with the precision of an engineer and the discipline of an industrial designer — creating designs that are imaginative, distinctive, and grounded in believable form, function, mechanisms, and construction.
Darko has led concept and full hard-surface design for Masters of the Universe vehicles, the mechanical dog featured in Coldplay’s “Higher Power” music video, and Sony’s Twisted Metal project, developing designs from initial ideas through detailed 3D development.

I am the author of INSIDE44 — the only handcrafted 588-page illustrated sci-fi encyclopedia created by a single designer over a decade. Filled with advanced futuristic design and deeply interconnected worldbuilding, it was created for art collectors and sci-fi fans seeking originality in an era dominated by AI-generated art.
This project demonstrates my ability to navigate complex creative systems, develop large-scale worldbuilding, and lead projects from concept to execution. It reflects the level of depth, consistency, and design thinking I bring to every collaboration.
