Inside44 is a 544-page original science-fiction collector’s edition that fuses narrative, concept art, industrial design, and rigorous worldbuilding into a single, cohesive universe.
Created entirely by Darko Marković (DarMar) over the course of more than a decade, Inside44 is not a compilation, collaboration, or derivative project. It is a fully authored science-fiction world, written, designed, illustrated, and structured by a single creator, with complete creative control from initial concept to final print.
The project began in 2015 as a long-term exploration of speculative futures, human systems, technology, and identity. Over ten years, it evolved into a dense, internally consistent universe supported by narrative lore, visual language, vehicle and environment design, character systems, and thematic continuity. Every element, story, imagery, typography, pacing, and structur, was developed to serve the same underlying world logic.
Inside44 goes beyond traditional science-fiction publishing formats. It operates simultaneously as:
a narrative work,
a visual art archive,
a design-driven encyclopedia,
and a foundational IP document suitable for adaptation across film, games, animation, and exhibitions.
