2D EXPLORATION
Using Shapeology as the foundation for designing an EV charger brings an interesting approach to product design. It opens up new creative possibilities, giving the form its own identity and meaning while maintaining a clear relationship between aesthetics and function.
The design went through several rounds of exploration and testing, both in 2D and 3D, before reaching the final direction
The shape needs to work from every angle while accommodating all functional requirements. With the technical aspects now resolved, the overall form is established, and we are exploring multiple design variations to find the strongest direction.

The client liked this shape, so it was time to explore a different direction. By pushing the original concept further, I explored new proportions, surfaces, and design possibilities while preserving the character of the initial idea.

EV Charger Design Exploration — Fine-Tuning
When a client asks for a perfect design, even the smallest adjustments can make a significant difference. Simple mathematical movements and subtle changes in curvature can completely transform how the eye and brain perceive an object.
This is why fine-tuning the surfacing is so important. Every transition, curve and proportion needs to be carefully considered to achieve the right visual balance and give the object its final character.
